"Dear Principal, The HSE is aware of correspondence being sent to principals of second level schools with serious allegations about HPV vaccine... ".

So opens the letter of 15th Sept 2010 intended for school principals around Ireland.  It continues,
"Over 57,000 Irish girls will be offered HPV vaccine this year, and they and their parents deserve to be well informed about the vaccine, its good safety profile and the cancer that it prevents". 
This is then followed by the standard pharmaceutical-company-disseminated 'talking points' promoting HPV vaccination which are fed to the media in every target market.

The noble aspirations of the HSE are then expounded along with some moralising on the seriousness of not following the 'program':                                                                                                            
Like Ireland, every one of the many countries implementing HPV vaccination programmes are doing so in the best interest of their citizens, to maximise health, prevent disease and prolong life. Around the world, a failure to implement a HPV vaccination programme would be considered to be a withholding of potentially life-saving preventive treatment.  

A Q&A information sheet is also included with the letter, which, we are told, is based on "peer reviewed international evidence and vaccine safety data before and after licensing".                          Here we learn that Gardasil has a good safety record, in the opinion of the World Health Organization,  the US Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, and the Therapeutic Goods Administration in Australia.

The research institute which co-invented the HPV vaccine is based in Australia - the Therapeutic Goods Administration in Australia considers it a safe vaccine.
